Outside of my indie author work, I possess a Bachelor’s in English Literature and seven years of working in education, spanning from narrative-driven editing to creative writing workshops to academic tutoring.
As a First-Gen student and Latina of Cuban and Panamanian descent, I’ve seen the little representation we have in writing and editorial spaces, and it is my mission to fill a gap that needs our eyes and voices.
Attacus Atlas House, named after the Atlas Moth, embodies renewal and transformation, two key points to making your manuscript spread its wings and fly into readers hands. Here, I believe in working through the editing stage and metamorphosing your story from words to a living, breathing book worthy of soaring.

K.L. is an absolute visionary. She took my reggaeton rockstar romance to the next level, challenging me to dig deeper into the emotional stakes while keeping the energy high. She didn’t just look at the mechanics; she deeply understood the rhythm, the culture, and the specific “heat level” required for this story. She helped me strengthen and sharpen my characters’ voices. K.L. is wicked insightful, and incredibly supportive. I can’t imagine publishing without her guidance!
— Shelly Cruz, Author of Staying for La Lluvia
Working with Atticus Atlas House was honestly the kind of editorial experience I’ve been craving. The developmental edits I received on my story were thoughtful, honest, and intentional. K.L pushed me to dive deeper into my scenes, my character motivations, senses, and the emotional layers of the story in a way that made my writing stronger and more meaningful.
There is nothing like finding an editor who not only understands what you’re trying to create, but also understands your voice, your audience, and the heart behind the story you’re trying to tell.
If you’re looking for an editor who will genuinely support your vision while helping you level up your craft, I can’t recommend Atticus Atlas House enough.
— K. Rodriguez, Author of Worth the Risk
Working with K.L. was a transformative experience. She is the best editor I’ve worked with. Her meticulous attention to detail, consistently sound editorial recommendations, and practical guidance on where to add, cut, expand, or deepen were key to my book’s success. Readers and reviewers frequently praise the very areas she focused on. Her editorial meeting was both insightful and encouraging, and her sensitivity-read suggestions were phenomenal. I highly recommend K.L. to any author who takes their craft seriously, wants their books to shine brightly, and is looking to grow as a writer through the editing process.
